Yellowstone

Yellowstone is a BBC nature documentary series narrated by Peter Firth, examining how Yellowstone's wildlife adapts to living in one of the harshest wildernesses on Earth. The series consists of three episodes, which take a look at a year in the life of Yellowstone National Park. The first episode "Winter" looks at how Yellowstone's wildlife survive in harsh winter with temperatures plunging to -40oC and several metres of snowfall. The second episode "Summer" explores Yellowstone's wildlife in summer season, including grizzly bears, otters, bison, and elk. And the third and final episode "Autumn" looks at Yellowstone's wildlife in autumn - Yellowstone's shortest season and a period of swift change.

Yellowstone: Episode 1 - Winter
With temperatures plunging to -40oC and several metres of snowfall, Yellowstone freezes solid for six months each year. This episode charts the fortunes of Yellowstone's wildlife in a finely balanced fight to survive.

Yellowstone: Episode 2 - Summer
As the Sun gains strength, Yellowstone is transformed into a flower-decked nursery perfect for the year's newborn animals. This episode looks at Yellowstone's wildlife in summer season, including grizzly bears, otters, bison, and elk.

Yellowstone: Episode 3 - Autumn
This episode looks at Yellowstone's wildlife in autumn - Yellowstone's shortest season and a period of swift change. Conditions change from summer to winter in just two months, forcing animals to leave or prepare for winter.
