The Human Body

The Human Body is a BBC documentary series presented by Robert Winston, looking at the mechanics and emotions of the human body from birth to death. The series consists of seven episodes; the first episode provides an overview of the series, and the remainder look at the mechanics of the human body and the emotions at the key stages in the human life cycle: birth, childhood, adolescence, pregnancy, adulthood, old age and death. To explore every aspect, every nook and crevice of the human body in its various stages of growth, maturity and eventual death, the series uses time-lapse photography, computer graphics and various state-of-the-art imaging techniques.
