Egypt: Rediscovering A Lost World

Egypt: Rediscovering A Lost World is a BBC docudrama serial focusing on three of the most important discoveries from the world of the ancient Egyptians. It consists of six episodes divided into three parts, each part of which takes two episodes and features a different explorer. Part one (the first two episodes) deals with the discovery of the Tomb of Tutankhamun by Howard Carter and the popular belief that the Curse of the Pharaohs came with its opening. Part two (the next two episodes) tell the story of Italian engineer and circus strongman Giovanni Belzoni and his finds from the reign of Ramesses the Great. And part three (the last two episodes) features Champollion's deciphering of the Rosetta Stone hieroglyphs. (from wikipedia.org)
