Business Ethics. Instructor: Prof. Susmita Mukhopadhyay, Vinod Gupta School of Management, IIT Kharagpur. This course is designed to provide an understanding of the concept of Business Ethics and its application in business decision making with an emphasis on corporate social responsibility and sustainable business practices in the age of Globalization. This course covers lessons in an overview of business ethics; the framing of business ethics - corporate social responsibility, stakeholders and citizenship behavior of the organization; the ethical theories of decision making; the tools and techniques of business ethics management, role of various agencies in ensuring ethics in corporations; contextualizing business ethics - corporate governance and accounting and finance related ethics; and business ethics with relevance to various stakeholders.
