Defects in Materials

Defects in Materials. Instructor: Prof. Sundararaman M, Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, IIT Madras. Defects play an important role in imparting properties to materials. It is also used to tailor the properties as well as in controlling the deformation behavior. Aim of this course is to give a brief introduction to the various types of defects and how their interaction can used to control the properties. (from nptel.ac.in)
