The Fabric of the Cosmos

The Fabric of the Cosmos is a PBS documentary series presented by Brian Greene, exploring cutting-edge scientific concepts about the nature of time and space, the weird realm of quantum physics, and multiverse. The story of the series is based on the book The Fabric of the Cosmos written by Brian Greene. The series consists of four episodes which take us to the frontiers of physics to see how scientists are piecing together the most complete picture yet of space, time, and the universe. Using computer generated imagery and Brian Greene's clear explanations, the series shows that just beneath the surface of our everyday experience lies a world we'd hardly recognize - a startling world far stranger and more wondrous than anyone expected.

Episode 1 - What is Space?

Episode 1 - What is Space?
This episode reveals space as a dynamic fabric that can stretch, twist, warp, and ripple under the influence of gravity, rather than space is nothing.

Episode 2 - The Illusion of Time
This episode is about the notion of time travel that reveals a new way of thinking about time in which moments past, present, and future exist all at once.

Episode 3 - Quantum Leap
This episode explores the weird realm of quantum physics, which governs the universe on the tiniest of scales.

Episode 4 - Universe or Multiverse?
This episode is about the multiverse; our universe may be just one of an infinite number of parallel universes.
