Architectures (ARTE documentary)

Architectures is a documentary series produced by the European public television channel ARTE, about modern architecture. The series consists of 23 episodes, which look at architecture and its historical and social functions to reveal its meaning and impact on humanity. Architectures covered in the series include: the Bauhaus in Dessau, the Georges Pompidou Centre, the Johnson Wax Administration Building, the Thermae of Stone designed by Peter Zumthor, Charles Garnier's Paris Opera, the Auditorium Building in Chicago, the Sendai Mediatheque designed by Toyo Ito, and the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao designed by Frank Gehry.
