The Art of America is a three-part BBC documentary series presented by Andrew Graham-Dixon, exploring the history of American art. In the first episode "Looking for Paradise", Andrew Graham-Dixon embarks on an epic journey from east to west, following in the footsteps of the pioneers who built the foundations of modern America. In the second episode "Modern Dreams", Andrew discovers how visionary artists and architects helped America remove itself from Europe's shadow.
