Transportation Engineering II. Instructor: Prof. Rajat Rastogi, Department of Civil Engineering, IIT Roorkee. This course deals with topics in railway engineering and airport engineering. The first part of this course covers topics in railway engineering: wheel and axles, track resistances, stresses in track, rails, creep in rails, jointed and welded rails, speeds on track, train control systems, and high speed tracks.
