Non-traditional Abrasive Machining Processes. Instructor: Prof. Asimava Roy Choudhury, Department of Mechanical Engineering, IIT Kharagpur. This course discusses about the non-traditional abrasive processes, machining processes which have gain popularity over the last few decades. Especially, the course will focus on the development of ultrasonic machining, abrasive jet machining and abrasive water jet machining. In these cases, instead of the conventional machining practice, we find the use of non-conventional or non-traditional methods of removing material. (from nptel.ac.in)
