Prehistoric Park

Prehistoric Park is a six-part television series in documentary style, starring Nigel Marven who travels back to various geological time periods and rescues a number of live specimens just before they were extinct. Nigel Marven travels back in time through a time portal. His expeditions include: prehistoric Montana to rescue Tyrannosaurus rex, 10,000 BC northwest Siberia to rescue a woolly mammoth, northeast China - 125 million years ago - in search of a winged dinosaur, prehistoric South America in search of the legendary sabre-toothed cats, Isle of Arran in Scotland - 300 million years ago - in search of giant insects, and prehistoric Texas - 75 million years ago - to rescue a Deinosuchus. Nigel Marven brings back live specimens of extinct animals back to the present day, where they are exhibited in a wildlife park named Prehistoric Park, which is a big area between high steep mountains and ocean with varied environments.

Episode 1 - T-Rex Returns




Episode 1 - T-Rex Returns
Nigel Marven travels back to Montana 65 million years ago to rescue Tyrannosaurus rex: he succeeds in taking a young Triceratops, a herd of Ornithomimus, and two baby tyrannosaurs to the Prehistoric Park.

Episode 2 - A Mammoth Undertaking
In this episode, Nigel Marven goes through the Time Portal to 10,000 BC northwest Siberia just east of the Ural Mountains where the last mammoths lived, to rescue a woolly mammoth.

Episode 3 - Dinobirds
Nigel Marven travels back to northeast China 125 million years ago. His mission in this episode is to rescue the Microraptors, winged dinosaurs, just before they were wiped out by a volcano.

Episode 4 - Saving the Sabretooth
In this episode, Nigel Marven travels back to prehistoric South America in search of the legendary sabre-toothed cats. Through his expedition, he rescues a Phorusrhacos and two Smilodon.

Episode 5 - The Bug House
Nigel Marven travels back to Isle of Arran in Scotland 300 million years ago, in search of giant insects. He manages to bag a gigantic dragonfly, a super-sized scorpion and a millipede that stands taller than Nigel.

Episode 6 - Supercroc
Nigel Marven travels back to prehistoric Texas 75 million years ago. His mission in this episode is to rescue a Deinosuchus, the largest crocodile that has ever lived.
